Once more, and still, we are feeling sorrow as we look out upon the world. Our hearts break. Again. And again. Often, we are told to just suck it up and get on with things. We do not allow time for the pain. But we should.

In ancient Egypt mostly women where performing a so called 'Lamentation Rite' where they were griefing the death of Ausar (Osiris). It was a sacred rite of mourning from death to rebirth. Their sacred tears were cleansing the pain of the collective and their souls pure. During this lamentation rite, people would remember of what is truly important in this life - which is keeping life sacred, care for our beloved ones and keep the cycles of life-death and rebirth alive.

Join this Lamentation Rite to express the grief and the loss and the love for life. We are stepping into a high powerful ceremony where we enter a trance-like state in sacred movement in order to cleanse ourselves, purify our souls and experience a renewal of our life-force energy.
